Return Guidelines
Returns/Exchanges
The following shoes may not be returned under any circumstances! Please be advised that if you return them, you will not receive a credit for them:
- All close out, sale shoes
- All custom made shoes
- All custom order shoes
- Werner Kern (Women's and Men's) - all models EXCEPT where noted as exchange ONLY
- Diamant (Women's and Men's) - all models
- Dyeable shoes that have been dyed.
- Any other shoes on the site with the No Returns/No Exchange button activated.

Returns and Exchanges for all other shoes MUST be pre-approved. Please call 1-888-327-0075 for an Authorization Number which will need to be clearly marked on the outside of the returning package. Packages without Authorization Numbers clearly marked may be subject to possible refusal. We strongly suggest that you insure your return package to guarantee that we receive it and without damage.

The following apply to all returns / exchanges:
1. Requests for returns / exchanges must be made within 15 days of receipt of the item by you.
2. A $40.00 restocking fee per pair of shoes will be charged for returns. No restocking fee will be charged for exchanges if made within 15 days. Only 1 exchange per order will be allowed.
3. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable and you will be responsible for the cost of shipping the shoes back. In addition, for exchanges, you will be charged for shipping the new pair. This must be paid for in advance of shipping.
4. Any valid return of dance shoes for the purpose of exchange or refund must be received with the dance shoes in their original undamaged shoe box(es) with the original interior packaging also included in the return. Any return of dance shoes with soiled soles, scratches, marks, blemishes, stretching or exhibit any sign of use or indication of wear will not be accepted. Any such shipment will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense.

Damage/Shortage Claims
Report all Damage/Shortage Claims within 15 Days of delivery acceptance. Please inspect your package as soon as you receive it. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a resolution on packages that aren't opened and inspected immediately upon receipt.

Cancellations
We cannot guarantee to cancel any order(s). We will make every attempt to intercept your order whenever possible, however, if your shoes have already been shipped, we will not be able to cancel the order.

Custom color book policy?
A refundable deposit of $50.00 is required to borrow the color book for our custom shoes. As stated when you check out, you may keep the color book 7 days after receipt by you. If you need an extension past the 7 days, you must get permission from Best Ballroom Shoes before the 7 day period is up. Failure to return the book within the 7 days will result in a late fee of $5.00 per day. We have very few books, and the supply has been shrinking. As a result we have been unable to serve many valuable customers.
